Grief Support Specialist
I currently offer individual and group grief support sessions that provide a safe, compassionate space to bring conversations about death, loss, and grief into the open.
We live in a society that is often grief-illiterate. As a result, when loss inevitably touches our lives, many of us are left feeling shocked, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to move forward. Grief can feel isolating, especially when we don't have the language, understanding, or support to navigate it.
Through open, honest conversations about grief and what it means to each of us as individuals, we can begin to make sense of our experiences, feel seen, heard, and supported, and take meaningful steps toward healing. You don't have to walk this journey alone.
The discussion includes but not limited to:
Talk openly and honestly about death and grief
Explore the different types of grief
Discuss the stages of grief and how they may be experienced
Examine the unique challenges of processing a sudden death versus an anticipated loss
Learn healthy coping strategies for navigating grief
Understand the importance of having your grief witnessed as an essential part of the healing process—you need to feel it to heal it
Learn the do's and don'ts of supporting yourself and others through grief
Receive valuable grief resources and referrals
Find compassionate support in a safe, nonjudgmental environment
If you are grieving, you do not have to go through it alone. I am here for you, providing a safe and compassionate space where your grief can be witnessed, acknowledged, and honored.
When grief is finally given a voice, the healing journey can begin.
